Navigation Bar

The navigation bar is at the top of nearly every page you will encounter while using Root Beer tag. As the name suggests, it contains links to other pages within a Root Beer Tag site as well as links to valuable help information.

  1. The House
    • Clicking on the house will always return users to the Select Tags page of a Root Beer Tag site.
  2. The Magnifying Glass – a menu of image search links
    • Search by Tags
      • The main starting page for Root Beer tag
    • Search by Name, Folder, or ID
      • Lists all of the site’s images and lets users search that list by image file name, folder name, or embedded image ID.
    • List Images with No Tags
      • Lists all of the site’s images that have no tags linked to them.
  3. The Wrench and Screwdriver – a menu of site utilities
    • Site Settings
      • Allows adjustment of site settings
    • Site Utilities (opens the same page as the Site Settings link)
      • Allows the running of certain utilities that facilitate back end processing of the site’s image data
    • Tag Maintenance
      • Lists the current tags available on the site. Allows for tag adding, deleting, and editing.
    • User Maintenance
      • Lists the current users configured on the site. Allows for user adding, deleting, and editing.
  4. The Question Mark – a menu of help options
    • RBT Homepage
      • Takes you to this general information site
    • RBT Quickstart Guide
      • Takes you to a quickstart guide to help new site owners get started uploading and tagging images
    • Navigation Bar Help – this document
    • Help for This Page
      • Dynamically takes the user to the help page for the particular page you’re on.
  5. User and Site Information
    • Provides a count of the cataloged images on a site and information about the currently logged-in user.
  6. Sun or Moon
    • Toggles light or dark mode for the whole site
  7. Log out Button
    • Logs out the current user and returns to the Tag Select page
