Search Examples

Root Beer Tag’s search capabilities set us apart from other photo storage sites or methods (local or internet-based). Once photos are uploaded and tags have been linked, finding exactly what you’re looking for is just a few clicks away.  Here are a few examples.

Let’s say a couple named Eddie and Brenda have their own Root Beer Tag Site. They have uploaded a couple of thousand photos taken during various family vacations through the years with their kids, Anthony and Virginia. Some of these vacations were to see Anthony and Virginia’s cousins Viktor and Alexa. Of course, lots of photos were taken of everyone. They tagged everyone in all of their photos and the years they were taken.

One year, Brenda had an idea for a Christmas letter featuring photos of their family vacations through the years. She wanted photos that had only the four of them on vacation (tags: ‘Eddie,’ ‘Brenda,’ ‘Anthony,’ ‘Virginia,’ and ‘Vacation’). Root Beer Tag made quick work of isolating these photos, even though many of their vacation photos included (and had tags for) cousins: Viktor and Alexa.

Later on, Eddie was wondering when their last trip to see Viktor and Alexa was. He easily went to his Root Beer Tag library, searched for photos tagged with ‘Viktor,’ ‘Alexa,’ and himself, and looked at the year that he had tagged with those photos. It took him less than a minute to find his answer.

Years later, the kids wanted to put together a photo slide show for Eddie and Brenda’s 25th anniversary.  Root Beer tag made it easy to find all photos tagged with only the couple and no one else.

The ability to search through tags with this level of ease helps Root Beer Tag put you in charge of your photos and their content. This makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for while cutting through the clutter.
